wHO ARE WE?
EPFL Racing Team is a Formula Student team founded by students in the fall of 2018. Each year, the team designs and develops an electric racing car. These vehicles are then taken to various competitions around Europe, in which we compete against other universities in engineering and business Events.

our mission
Our goal is to develop autonomous electric cars that are increasingly efficient while remaining environmentally sustainable. To achieve this, we use the knowledge we have acquired during our studies.
The Formula Student competition is recognized as putting innovation first and is considered one of the most prestigious engineering competitions.
Formula student
We are part of the huge network of Formula Student competitions. Numerous engineering universities take part every summer throughout Europe. The competitions take place in several countries and include a variety of tests. These tests check the safety of the car as well as the design and efficiency of the various components. The team is also tested on the commercial aspect of its work in a test called "Business Plan".
Overall, the competitions provide an opportunity to compare the designs of the participating cars and to identify their strengths and weaknesses. Every year, we push ourselves to build a car that's better than the last.
